Westport Port Klang

In 2002, our company was engaged to supply experienced manpower, cranes, tools and equipment to carry out the below scope of works for the installation of three (3) units of Mitsui - Paceco Portainer Cranes at Westport in Port Klang.

1. Supply of manpower to assist in unloading three (3) units of Mitsui - Paceco Portainer Cranes from the barge to the crane runaway.
2. Supply of crane and manpower to offload the ship loose items from the barge to the quayside.
3. Installation of two sets of boogies under the crane’s legs.
4. Delashing works which include the removal of reinforcemnet brace, skidding bracket, reinforce ment wire of beam, trolley lashing piece, bearing cover of boom gear, security wire and bolts, etc.
5. Installation of checker’s cab, rail cramp, cable rell, cable guide of cable reel, platform, stairway, boom motor, elevator and brackets of gantry anti-colli sion.
6. Supply of manpower to assist in testing and commissioning.
7. Supply of site office comes with air-condition, refrigerator, lighting, furniture, etc.
